At AEC we came to the realization over 30 years ago that the best way to approach our property assessment and taxation business was to bring a number of different viewpoints, assets, skills, and perspectives to bear on the problems. The result has been a collaboration of experts in assessment, valuation, engineering, finance, economics, planning, and technology to address the needs of our clients and ensure fair and appropriate taxation.
Today, as the focus of the assessment department switches more and more to computerization and mass appraisal processes, the demands on our consulting practice has been to meet and exceed the expertise and data management capabilities of the assessor. The only way to deal effectively with an intricate process, such as assessment and property taxation, is to keep ahead of the field.
AEC’s only business is property assessment and taxation; we do not delve into income tax, sales tax or other accounting disciplines. We are property assessment and taxation experts - specialized, focused and concentrated.
We have been successful at maintaining a high ratio as a ‘zero cost service provider’; over a 3 year average period 95% of our portfolio clients generate profit through tax mitigation strategies.
